KETCH Fine Jewellery was founded on a simple idea: do things properly, or not at all. That means crafting jewellery with care, treating people with respect, and leaving as little mess behind as possible—on the earth, and in life.
We don’t chase trends. We don’t cut corners. And we don’t pretend to be anything we’re not.
Here’s what we believe in, and how we put those beliefs into practice:
We make jewellery—but not at the planet's expense. Robert is always cutting out plastics and toxic materials from our processes. From ditching microplastic-heavy packaging to choosing handmade wooden boxes for bespoke pieces, we try to do better wherever we can.
Robert's always been a collector of old things—objects made to last, from a time before throwaway culture. He's sure we can live without all the plastic. We're proud to take responsibility for our share of the problem.
Treat People Right
Many cheap imports come at a human cost—unsafe conditions, underpaid workers, even child labour. At KETCH, we don’t support that. Robert avoids sourcing anything from unethical supply chains—including those linked to marketplaces like Temu—and always looks for better options.
Closer to home, he supports British labour and pays fairly for good work. People matter—and that’s not up for debate.
Jewellery often means more than its price tag. We repair pieces others turn away—not for profit, but because someone cares about them. That matters.
Robert uses recycled metals and stones wherever possible and specialises in upcycling old jewellery into new designs that still hold their sentimental value. It’s slower, and sometimes less profitable—but it’s the right thing to do.
We believe in value—not in cutting corners. Every piece we sell, no matter the price, is designed and built to last. That means proper materials, careful craftsmanship, and time spent getting it right.
Robert hallmarks his work—something cheap, mass-made items often skip or fake. And when those items break, they’re nearly impossible to repair. That’s why we don’t sell throwaway jewellery. We sell good jewellery that lasts.
Everything you see at KETCH is designed in-house. We don't resell, white-label, or copy others. Our designs are original, made here, and handled with care every step of the way—from concept to casting to quality checks.
You won't find them anywhere else. And that's the point.
